Sekou T. Sirleaf

Sekou T. Sirleaf, known as ST Sirleaf, has been a resident of Fargo since 2016. He serves as a
minister of the gospel of Jesus Christ. He is the senior pastor of the One Family Christian Center International church, which has branches in the United States and Africa. Additionally, ST Sirleaf is a member of the Fargo Human Rights Commission and currently holds the position of Chair.
As a passionate advocate for social justice, equality, inclusion, and fairness, ST Sirleaf is
dedicated to fostering an inclusive environment in Fargo, where all individuals have equal
opportunities and a fair chance at achieving the American Dream – encompassing the
fundamental rights to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. He believes that any deviation
from these principles undermine the core values of democracy and the Constitution.
The recent decision by the City Commissioners of Fargo to eliminate the Department of
Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) on September 16, 2024, has prompted ST Sirleaf to
advocate for meaningful change. He has initiated a platform designed to encourage individuals of good conscience to come together and express their support for the reinstatement of the DEI department and fight to promote an inclusive Fargo for all. ST Sirleaf invites everyone to join in this critical dialogue and contribute to the collective effort for a more equitable community.
